Two pillows under my head, top one must be down, both high loft. A cylinder pillow from a drugstore, slippery fabric, stuffed with micro beads that goes between legs, size and slipperiness make it easier for me to change position.

Have a backergnomic pillow - Reading pillow, upright with the stuffed arms coming out for reading and TV watching. But my hips still hurt when I wake.

Chris says it's the only way he can sleep

2 under his head
1 under feet
1 under calves
1 under each arm

sleeps like frankenstien on his back with both arms to his side

I sleep on my side, but I found that the only pillows that I can sleep on now are my Mediflow water pillows. I have 2. I don't stack them, I sprawl on my queen sized bed and either sleep on 1 or the other, depending on which is more comfortable for the night.

One is filled with 2 liters of water, the other with 3. So they're a bit different (2 liters is 'softer') to accommodate whatever I feel is more comfortable any given night

Wow...you all put me to shame with the amount of pillows you use!

I have two under my head...the top one is fat and firm. Have to have head high or vertigo visits me.
I have a pillow next to my bed in case my back starts to bother me. It goes under my knees when I'm lying on my back, and between my legs when I am on my side.
My DH has two pillows, one on each side of his head.

Do pillows under the calves reduce spasms during the night? Just wondering how to stop those.

I totally agree! People who only need one pillow, or who don't care what kind of pillow it is, are WEIRD! I cannot understand it!

When I am really unwell, I only sleep on the couch so that I can have the sturdy back support when laying on my side. I've done that for as long as a year at a time.

After my last flare, I noticed my hands and legs were numb/tingly when I awoke. My doc told me it was like a L'hirmettes reaction to having my neck in a bad angle for my lesions. I had to ditch my other two pillows, and now I only sleep with one.

One pillow. High quality down, it can be like many pillows as my needs for support change in different positions.

When the back spazzes are bad, I add a couple for my legs and between my knees.

I confess that I have a down pillow designated to travel, one for bed, one for recliner (the only place I can sleep with vertigo), and one for the couch.

There is also a huge 3ft square pillow my mom made for me that has a loose filling that is shapable. It's almost 33 years old and has been a mainstay in my arsenal all that time.
