Smile ive had some kind of 'view point' break through!

Hiya,

I thought i would let you all know of a break through ive made, some of you will have already reached this point when you have been faced with the situation i have found myself (i posted earlier- 'can anybody help me please!')

I have been a positive, optimistic person in life and taken the holistic approach to health care over the years with success, but over the past several months found myself more and more relying on doctors and neurologists to give me the answers, (which they didn't ) and they gave me less hope and made me feel terrible about myself, focusing on finding a dx and driving myself crazy.

Those medics i have seen have given me no hope and told me to live with what is happening to me, i have left their department with my head battered by what they have said. I have always believed that there is either hope or no hope, but no hope must surely only be once you are dead, so there is and must always be hope, sadly the doctors and those i have seen have only given no hope, which is when ive gone away feeling as if i am dead or may as well be.

Yesterday I went to see a lovely lady, a homeopath and i have no idea if the treatments will make any difference in that way, rather like any other form of treatment. As you can take a remedy for a cold that goes after a few days ,but it may have gone by itself or not, so was it the remedy?

The point is that she was positive and gave me hope, she was understanding and acknowledged how ill i have been and that i am struggling and that i could feel better than this,

i realised i had gone off down a path for a dx seeing the doctors and neurologists and hadn't been looking at getting well or keeping myself feeling ok, it had made me half the person i was and that wasn't just the illness that was my state of mind, brought on by the attitudes of those i was relying on to help me.

I have a re-newed viewpoint which has made me feel brighter about everything and this is without any treatment so far, (i haven't started the homeopathic treatment yet)

Connecting up with the right people is so important, the people that will lift you up and not bring you down.

Always have hope, there is always hope. It is loosing that hope that makes us feel so bad and having hope makes you feel like you can go on.

take care of yourselves, much love and best wishes xx

Bless your homeopath, even if her treatments never do a thing for you, at least she is positive. That's wonderful, sunnyday! So happy for you!

Sunnyday,

I'm so happy for you that you have come to peace with your course of treatment. You now have an avenue of treatment that you are comfortable with. It is so important to feel validated as a human being and a patient when you walk out of a "health care provider's" office.

Good for you

Blessings,

A good attitude has a huge advantage, whether we are sick with an unknown cause, or sick with a known cause. The bottom line though, is that we have to live with it either way.

My eldest has had several different "challenges" over recent months, things that many of us have probably had to face throughout our lifetimes; deaths, health issues, injuries, missed opportunities, losses, etc. Her current attitude STINKS though, and she is going to have to learn how to deal with these disappointments better if she is going to survive the game of Life.

She is young, and life has always dealt her the easy hand . . . so this isn't something you can fully prepare somebody for. Sometimes it's hard knocks that give us the right perspective.

Good for you, Sunny. I gave up my Neuro when I stopped the DMDs, which is all they offer.

My PCP, who is a lovely and knowledgable man, takes good care of me.

Let us know if any of those therapys work..OK?

Sunnyday

I'm so happy that you have a new direction and outlook. I hope you get some good benefits from your homeopath. Keep us posted.

Attitude does make all the difference, IMO.
