My sister was diagnosed with MS at 12 years old. She is now 58.
2004 I learned what GBS stood for, and thought I was dealing with the residuals until this summer when diagnosed with Chiari 1. My mother, 86 years old, was diagnosed with Parkinson's 8 years ago. Younger sister is now undergoing tests for various neurological issues. We've definitely got weak genes when it comes to the nervous system. |

ZOMG UPDATE!!!
I just talked to my Mom today for quite a long time on the phone. Another moment of "Why didn't you tell me this before Mom?!". Anyways, my mother has Lupus. I'm not kidding you. Her doctor said it's only affecting her 1 foot. But she did indeed test positive for Lupus, several years ago. Ah HA. So a definite AI link in my mother's side of the family.
