Default My brain is really in warped speed

Please be patient reading this post. You will understand why I have
to tell you everything I did today.

Had to go to the lawyers with some papers to get ready with the
closing of my house. Went to my DD's house to fax more papers regarding
the house I am buying in Kentucky.

Went to the local pizza place to get a quick lunch. After that walked
around the shopping center. Went into a few stores to check on things.

The last thing, went to the supermarket to get a few groceries. Had
a lot of time, so I just strolled around the store with the cart.

Got home and changed into more comfortable clothes. Put all the
groceries away.

About 45 min. of being home, walked back into the Living Room and
noticed the shoes I took off that I was wearing today.
I freaked out, I had worn 2 different shoes.
They both were brown slide ins,but different styles. I was so embarassed
thinking about how many people noticed this and said to themselves

WHERE IS THIS WOMEN'S BRAIN, DOESN'T SHE REALIZE SHE
IS WEARING TWO DIFFERENT PAIRS OF SHOES.

Has this happened to anyone else or am I the only bird brain.

That's what I got for hurrying up to get dress.

I walked around the house for about 30 min. before I left

You had a lot on the go dear. Putting on 2 different shoes is probably the result of your mind being preoccupied with other things going on.

Long before my MS diagnosis, I went to work on a Wednesday wearing my jeans. Monday to Thursday are definitely not jeans days. They're business casual days! Not to mention (freaky), my coworker who certainly does not have MS showed up in jeans on that very same day!

The manager laughed and gave us both 'free pass' buttons to wear for the day. Basically suggesting we had won some 'team challenge' so management would not give us a rough time.

I can honestly say I had completely had a brain fart, but she said "Oh I just didn't want to dress up today". LOL.

ya know jappy, i bet not 1 single person noticed.

and just think of all that you accomplished. that's incredible. i'd never be able to do 25% of what you did.

i'd just smile inwardly and knock yourself upside the head.

Nobody noticed....and if they did they were probably relieved to know that you did the same thing they once did!!

At least you were fully dressed.....I made it almost all the way to work once before realizing that I had forgotten to put my skirt on!! I had on a slip, a blouse and planned on putting my skirt on very last thing so I wouldn't get anything on it before I left. I got in the car in the garage, opened the garage door, started the car and left. Thank goodness I looked down at my lap before I actually got to work!!

I bet nobody ever used that excuse for being late before!!

You are not alone!

Unfortunately for my DH I regularly did that very same thing. For me it was always one black shoe and one blue one. I'd phone DH from work when I finally noticed my feet, and he'd have to bring me one shoe and take the other colored one home.

My other "thing" was I would forever be leaving the front opening zipper in my work trousers down. I'd often not even notice until my first visit of the day to the ladies'. Nobody ever told me, so I have to hope it was because no-one ever noticed.

I'm having a real hard time feeling sorry for you, for wearing two different shoes, with all the walking you were able to do. Sorry..

I went to my brothers fancy church one time in two different heels. They were different color and different size heel! But we were out of tonw and the only other shoes I had were my tennis shoes.

The only shoes I own are sneakers and Birkenstocks... so no I've never put on one of each. BUT>... many times I have gone out of the house with my shirt on inside-out .
