Default Free medication mystery solved!

So I called HR at my work today, and asked why my prescriptions for certain drugs have been free, and my last Copaxone refill was a reduced cost.

I was informed that once I have spent $900 out of pocket for medications after benefits has taken it's chunk, benefits then covers 100% of my prescription cost.

SWEET! Does this mean my Copaxone refill in October will be 100% covered? It was less this last refill.

Hot diggity!

Wow. Good insurance. I miss having group insurance through an employer. Private is never as good.

I talked to my coworker tonight, who had just recently been through Chemo for breast cancer.

You think our medications are costly? Unreal the costs associated with her's. But she did confirm that "Benefit period begins July 1st, so you'll have 100% coverage now for the rest of the year, until July 1st 2009".

Yeah, this is amazing stuff.
