Dying your hair is something to get excited about! You have every right!

What color are you dying it?

I'm getting my hair dyed this afternoon thank goodness. I didn't believe it had gotten so bad until DH snapped a picture and showed me the big round white spot in back. It's not bad in front where I can see it!!!

I did it last weekend - (at least I think it was last weekend, I can't remember now) Be excited, doing something for yourself if great!

let us know how it comes out and welcome to the boards!

You guys are gonna Guilt me into it... I haven't done mine in a long time. My natural hair is light blond and my roots are growing out platinum, so it's hard to tell, at first, when I need help..LOL.

I've considered, just letting it go and I may do that. The last time I went to all that trouble, nobody noticed.. When I brought DD's attention to it, she said that it looks the same. My Darling 3 and 1/2yr old GS said..."It doesn't look as white".....He noticed..

I'm not trying to impress anyone and unless, I think it will make me feel better...Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow..

Good Luck Cinder..

I wanted to get highlights in my hair. My friend offered to do them (she's a hairdresser) so it would be very inexpensive. It's just the upkeep of having to recolor that discourages me from the idea.

Ugh, you guys are making me want to try coloring my hair at home again. I can never get the right color though. It's either too light or too dark and turns reddish. Any ideas? I am naturally a light brown, auburn like. Yet in my past pics when I wasn't gray, I was a darker brown. Go figure. lol I am now almost completely gray but have it done at the salon in two different colors.

A hairdresser once told me to buy the bleaching cap and then two browns, one light, one dark and do it that way every other month. Hmmm, that's kind of what my hairdresser does. I don't know.
