I miss everyone here! At least I am fortunate enough to be able to get online a bit at work. Hopefully they'll get Sally and the rest of us up and running soon. I didn't realize just how much I used the internet to communicate with friends until we lost power for days.

We finally got power back at 6 p.m. last night after 5 days of darkness. I sure hope Sally is next on the list!

Hope our Sappy gets reconnected soon. We don't realize how awful it is to be w/o power, until it's off. I complain when a storm takes ours out for a couple of hours. I am thinking of our OH buds.

Barb~ Your Mother must be one tough cookie. I'm pretty impressed at her stamina for her age. Hope she continues to do well.

Hang in there Cherokee and thanks for updating us.

I'm guessing Sally's still without power as of Saturday a.m. This is infuriating.

Our local power company says 65,000 customers are still without power but they're saying they hope to have power restored by Sunday. Frankly, I'm not hopeful as each day the number of those with power restored is less and less. We were one of only 6,000 who got ours back Thursday. They said they restored 9,000 customers Friday.

For those still without power, I'm praying it comes back this weekend. Enough is enough.
