Welcome

I like what Cindy said when you feel good "get busy"!

I know that we pay for it after but ya know what...we eventually
pay anyway!!!!

Glad you are feeling well at the moment.

Now I don't even know the questions, lol!

Make yourself at home, mbabic, but don't drink the water!

Hello and Welcome to NT.

Sorry you have to be here, but am glad that you've found us

The answers could be all of the above. I found, myself, after my dx and starting with the DMD, I started feeling better. Some of it, I attribute to just 'relief'...relief of knowing what was going on with my body.

And I, too, find I feel better in the Fall/Autumn weather

Welcome, again, to NT

Hi Mbabic, and to the forum!

When we are first dx, quite often the disease is fairly active (generally that's how it becomes so obvious that we have it, actually). After a while, things level off, with or without disease modifying drugs, at least if we are in the Relapsing/Remitting category anyway.

The disease modifying drugs (DMD's) that most of us are on, aim to reduce inflammation (enhancing lesions), hopefully amounting to less relapses (hence "symptoms" of relapses). It stands to reason then, that we might find that we might actually feel better if the drug "works" for us.

There are many other positive steps we can take too, like all the things you mentioned (diet, exercise, etc.). Quite often it is hard to tell what has made the difference . . . so as my doc says "keep doin' what you've been doin'".

Glad you are feeling better and hope it is lasting for a very long while.

Cherie
