Oh how familiar THAT sensation is. I can't put my phone on vibrate and stick it in my back pocket. Can't tell the difference between my butt vibrating and the phone ringing!

When I first had it, I described it to my neuro as "the feeling you get when a cat sits on you and purrs." I get it in different areas of my body. The weirdest was when the tip of my tongue was doing it.

<sigh> Gotta love this disease!

I have had the L'Hermites off an on now for about a year but his was different - started at the tips of my fingers and went up my arm instead of my neck going down to my fingers!

one more thing to add to my list for the neuro!

well, in keeping with the theme of this thread, I've got a weird one for ya.

after successful sex, if I clench my Kegel muscle, my FEET vibrate for a second or two...

sorta like L'Hermitte's on er.... um... "crack"

the amusing sx lasts only for about 10 minutes afterwards, (picture me... <clench> ZING! <clench> ZING! <clench> ZING!)

this is for research purposes, I promise.

I discovered the bizarre effect by accident... mentioned it to my Neuro back in 1996, and he said "That's impossible!"

but with MS, all things are possible... it's merely another misdirected signal, harmless, but interesting.

yup I will agree that is another weird one!

I tried to get my fingers to do it again by rubbing the dogs belly yesterday but didn't work BUT, this morning typing on the puter is sending a vibration up my fingers!

yesterday driving to see BF sister my lower back started in. I ended up stopping before I got there to get out of the car and stretch. I decided I would do it at a local store (where no one knew me) instead of doing it in front of them!

Um...... I'm a lady and will not vibrate and tell. I remember when I had to wear a pager for a certain job involving the cops. Only I used to keep the pager on vibrate and used to wear it INSIDE the band of my pants rather than on the outside of the pants. It was less obvious. BUT....when the cops would ask me why I did that, I'd tell them that when I got bored I'd just page myself.......

And Cayo, Good for you---I think. So is this a pleasant sensation or just a weird one? (the vibration, silly, not the sex part )

I'm all... "Just because nobody every told you about something like this before, (maybe because they were shy about mentioning anything sexually-related to a male doctor) doesn't mean it isn't happening to ME!"

in his defense, he was about 75, and still carried a leetle black leather medical bag, just like Dr. Ben Casey on TeeVee... an adorable gnome of a man, and an otherwise excellent doctor.
