Wink Monday Morning Blues.....Or Not.

Ok, so how was everybody's weekend. I had a horrible weekend, because of my dental surgery on Friday. That shot a big hole in any fun for me.

I feel a bit better today, but not ready for the Irish Jig quite yet. I had thought I was starting a flare on Friday....stress is always a big trigger for my MS, but I'm OK today...not flaring. So that's a good thing..

I have to stop and count my blessings once in awhile or I would probably run with sizzers right into heavy traffic..

So, how was your weekend and how do you feel today.

Don't forget to vote Democrat tomorrow..LOL!!

Hi Sally, glad to hear you made it through the dentists in one piece - one big sigh of relief there. Irish gig will come, give it time

How many people here are voting Democrats?

Sally I give you a hearty congratulations for going through your dental experience without killing anybody within arms reach. I know the recovery is not going to be any fun either. Don't you have to wait for the swelling to go down before they can fit you with your new dentures? How do they expect you to eat under those conditions? Just live off of Margaritas? I guess you will be real close friends with a straw after the holes heal over.

Sorry you had such a bear of a weekend and I'm glad you didn't go into a flare due to all of the stress you were under. Hopefully things will only get better from here on out.

Peace be with you.

Sally, you haven't killed someone yet? As one who has dealt with mucho mouth pain, I think you're on the high road. Consider it a good weekend.

Right now I'm dealing with Medicaid (always such a joy). Lisa has been coming in every morning to help me get dressed, and on mornings that I shower, in and out of the shower. I'm just looking to get someone in on the mornings that I shower. Then I'd like to get consumer directed care, so that Lisa can get paid for the other mornings. So right now I'm doing the bureaucratic tap dance.

I'm registered as "non-affiliated" so I can vote in a specific primary if I want then disaffiliate. Try to know the candidates and issues so I vote conscience which generally results in a split ticket decision.

As far as weekend....I turned a corner and am starting to feel more human. Up and dressed and actually getting my own food and beverage as needed today. Color me very grateful!

Hello Sally,
I'm so glad you're faring better today. I hope you enjoyed some wonderful ice cream over the weekend. We'll be voting BLUE tomorrow in this house, but it will only cancel out the RED that abounds in our county. It is basically a colourwar in this part of the state I'm afraid to say. There are some good people on both tickets though. We'll see what happens. I have my hopes up. Continue to heal.

Chris

Right now I'm dealing with the stitches pulling and hurting. As soon as they get those out and get a liner in my denture, I'll be peachy keen. I really like my teeth...they look like my old teeth...very nice job.

Craig, no, they put my teeth in right away. ..something about the fit..

Chris, my sympathies dear...dealing with Medicare...Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

AGR, yes I'm Irish so I'd like to do a jig on the dental surgeon's grave..JK..LOL!

The Republicans don't want us to have our cure, so that's why I said vote Democrat. And I live in the State that put Dubbaya in the WH..Ohio...Arghhhhh!!

Hi Sally:

Glad to hear you are on the mend! Hopefully you won't have to go back for a long long time.

Cherie:

I posted when you were discharged but forgot to submit it. (I do that a lot).

Glad you are starting to feel better. With everything you have had to face lately, the last thing you needed was shingles, let alone the other problems.

Sorry you have been sick. Hope you continue to experience a strong recovery.
