Default Ridiculous weather... 90+ degrees nonstop

Okay, I don't want to complain (well not too much anyhow)....but for the last two months the weather here in Southern California has just been out of control.

It's been hot...then for the last week of September and first 10 days of October, it hit 95 to 100+ degrees every day. The other days it's been 90. Oh, yeah, we did have a "Cold front" - where it was high 80s, low 90s. At one point the weather man said it would be 78. It wasn't. It's just wrong that it can still be 85-90 degrees at 9pm. Very wrong!

I guess it reminds me of how thankful I am to have had HiCy - because back in May and June - the heat was not nearly as bad - and it was killing me. I would go outside and by the time I walked down my driveway to get into my car, I lost my vision and vertigo would then kick in....even when I had on a cooling vest, etc. It would take nearly an hour for me to get my body temp back down. Totally insane.

And now? Well, I can be outside and active - doing things. No double vision, no loss of vision, no vertigo. Sometimes, if I'm walking a lot or chasing my 2yo nephew....I will get head-achy, but that's all. I can't believe it. If I hadn't had HiCy and if my symptoms would flare like they were before - I'd seriously be looking into moving. To Alaska. Okay, not Alaska. Definitely not Alaska (sorry, I won't get political here )....

Anyhow - for those of you who suffer/struggle with problems from the heat - I totally feel for you. It's miserable.

Isn't it fall?? It's the END of October. It's getting cruel!

Hpe everyone else is staying cooooool.

It's finally cooled off here in Georgia. But....we had scorching heat this past summer and it just seems to get worse over the years. I just don't remember it ever getting hot like it does now.

I am seriously contemplating moving to a cooler climate. I've even researched different states and Maine seems to have the coolest climate during the traditional summer months. Vermont seems nice, too. I know....winters are brutal there but I like winter weather. Cold had never bothered me too much...but I've never lived in a state where winter lasts eight months, either! Like you, the heat makes my sx 100% worse.

Since I'm no longer tied to a job here we'll just see what happens. My kids are grown but say they'll move wherever I do but they are not to thrilled about the colder weather.

You probably don't want to hear about the snow we're expecting this week...

It's actually going to rain here, a LOT, for the next several days. Kinda looking forward to 1 type of weather without fluctuations. I was getting sick of dealing with the pressure headaches associated with the sun 1 day, rain next day, sun third day, etc.

I feel for you, Keri...Yucky Heat!! It's finally cooled down here and I hope it stays this way forever, but alas, the bitter cold and snow will come and then I'll wonder why I wished for it..

Stay in your A/C until it cools down a little OK? I'm glad you are doing so well with HiC..

If it makes you feel any better, I live in warm Southern Minnesota ..Our low tonight 32, high tomorrow 39. We had our first snow flurries of the season today..Brrrr. Kelly, I always wanted to move up to the north shore of Lake Superior (Near Duluth, or maybe Grand Marais)..Nice, comfortable summers. We won't go into winter weather, though right now it's the same as here..Bring your mukluks & come on up!

And she is sending it right smack to us. The guy on the weather last night specifically mentioned Minnesota. Thanks a bunch.
