Default I think my legs are drunk.

I wonder if this classifies as something to call the neuro about?

The past couple of days, maybe the past week, my legs have felt...weird.

I'm pretty sure it's some sort of loss of proprioception (or is that prioproception? Whatever.)

Now, since yesterday afternoon, my right leg feels like it's overcompensating or something. I was walking up the sidewalk from our backyard to the front this morning, and had to concentrate a bit more so that I didnt roll back down the sidewalk.

I did tell my neuro when I saw him about a week and a half ago that my legs were feeling weird, but at the time, it was just a sense of where they were sometimes. Now the skin on my left leg from the thigh on down to my foot is kind of tingly burning. The skin on my right thigh is tingly burning, but not as much as the left, and my feet are not quite coordinating with each other...like they're not quite working together when I walk.

I hope that I dont look like I'm drunk. 'Cause I dont drink anything stronger than Dr. Pepper or Mr. Pibb...occasionally I'll have a Root Beer.

I was dizzy for about an hour or two last night, took some Meclizine and the dizzy spinnies went away and I havent noticed it coming back yet.

I guess this can wait till monday to call the neuro. Hopefully I wont be too much of a Stumble Bunny for the next couple of days.

I'd call your neuro to give them a head's up for sure. Hope you get feeling better Erin, and hope you've been sleeping better too!

I was sleeping so well this morning, and then I got woken up by the window repair people (Pella) that were replacing the aluminum cladding around our windows that were damaged by hailstones earlier this year. Argh!

My cold or whatever was going on the past few weeks seems to be better, and aside from a couple of headaches, I've been feeling great lately. Except for the numb tingly bits and the weird pain in my left big toe.

Does anyone know if pain from a trauma, or an actual traumatic injury can trigger a flare? I hurt my foot and toe earlier this summer, and it's been slow to heal, and with the cold this week (it's freezing here!) I wonder if it's the pain from my toe that's setting off the numb tinglies.

I agree with calling the neuro, even if it's just to let them know what's going on. My right leg sometimes doesn't cooperate with the left, and it can get interesting and scary.

I know extreme temperature changes outside can do weird things to my symptoms sometimes. Both hot and cold.

Hope this improves for you soon.

That explains it! It was 80 (yes, EIGHTY!) degrees on Election Day. Right now, it's like 28 degrees outside.

Weird thing is, I just went with my dad to the store and to get gas for my car ($1.94 for gas! wow!) and the cold air seemed to help the tinglies in my left leg. My left foot is killing me for the sore toe (massive pain in the joint of the big toe where the toe meets the foot, feels like it's broken)

I still have the tinglies in the foot, but it feels like the burning has gone down to just a mild sizzle. Hope that lasts.

I just got a brand new computer chair tonight, the old one was falling apart and was making my butt hurt because it was so worn out, so maybe that will help things. The new chair is soft and comfy and has a headrest so that when I fall asleep in the chair I wont get whiplash from my head falling backwards.
