For some reason my allergies cause that neurological burning, and I have no idea why. My doc said that many people with MS who have that symptom will get relief from antihistimines (i.e. Benadryl), for some reason.

I used Benadryl until I could re-wash all my clothing, and it really helped with the burning. I always know when I've put on something that I haven't worn/re-washed though as the burning comes back in full force again. It feels like a blow-torch on my legs, so I know what you mean about it feeling like your leg is in a bbq.

Cherie

I dont think we've changed anything that I know of. But thanks for telling me that Benadryl can help sometimes. I got a Rx for Neurontin from the neuro yesterday (that helped some) but maybe I'll try the Benadryl later today when the burn starts to get bad.

The burning seems to be not too bad when I get up in the morning, and starts to build in the afternoon until it's pretty nasty in the evenings.

I was going to try my mom's TENS Unit if it gets really bad. If she'll lend it to me.

It felt like the neurontin helped me some last night, but it also made me a little dizzy. I'm going to try the benadryl later today and see what it does to the burning.
