Default My results

Went to the doc Weds and my results are all normal. When I got home I realized that the emg/nerve conduction was not there, so I have to call back next Tues. and let him know.

So know I know more stuff I don't have.

Meanwhile, my dog Rudy got sick. I told dh Mondya I had a premonition about that. Tuesday, Rudy would not eat and was really sluggish, he vomitted once and was shivering all day. Weds, no improvement, so we got him to the vet.

All I could get him to eat was one scrambled egg, but they x-rayed him and it showed his stomach completely full to the point of being distended. They could not say what it was he'd eaten, it looked like food, not some foreign object.

I searched the house and yard for clues but didn't see anything obvious.

We also learned he has a microchip, so I need to register his number.

He came home with some meds, and I followed him around to see what came out. His stool, when he finally did go, was full of fuzz from his tennis balls!

He's doing better and should be fine in another couple days.

And then one of ds's friends from way back stopped over last night. Poor kid is really down on his luck. Got a ticket he couldn't afford, so he lost his license till he could pay it and get car insurance. So he can't get to work, lost his apartment and had to move back in with ome family members.

These people are not good to him, there is no food, heat, or running water in the house. If I had known it was like that when he was a little kid, I would have taken him in myself and I regret to this day not checking on this boy better.

So he tells me his tale of woe, and I make a frozen pizza and offer use of the shower, let him hang around and make some phone calls. We talk and brainstorm how he's gonna get back on track.

Today he came back over and I made something a little more substantial for dinner, and he had some good news, a friend told him he could lend him the cash to get his ticket paid. Thank goodness. And another guy is having him do some work so he can make a few bucks in the meantime, and his old boss will hold his job for a week.

He mentions that where he's working now, there is a guy who is a *sensitive* and does some faith healing, says he's a good person. I asked if this man might be willing to talk to me and maybe be able to tell me what is wrong with me. He says he's sure he would, and he'll ask and let me know.
What do I have to lose?

I'll let you know what happens if I go see him.
