Hi bamy,
First off from what I recall, if you are on Parkinson's medications, you usually will have some relief from the medications. I don't recall that Parkinson's patients had visual problems, but then again, I could be wrong. Has anyone ever discussed something called "DEVIC's Disease" with you? I do believe that some of the symptoms of both MS and Parkinson's overlap in Devic's.

You may want to contact Cherie who is an MS Certified Nurse. She may be able to help you with this type of question. May you find the answers you are looking for.

All the best to you,

Chris

Hi Bamy,

So you're already dx'd with Parkinson's and yet you think you may be exibiting symptoms indicative of MS. This is really something only you and your neuro can decide. I know some of the Parkinson's symptoms are similar to MS but then again, it's not unusual for people with neurological and immune diseases to have more than one. i.e. Lupus and MS.

I suggest the best thing to do is to contact your neuro and discuss the different Parkinson's meds with him and their side effects as Chris mentioned. He can then determine what the source of the symptoms may be in your case.
