Wow! That's awesome! You were really lucky. And I thought I was lucky to have seen Fiddler on the Roof on Broadway with Zero Mostel and Jesus Christ Superstar on Broadway too.

It's amazing to think that you got to see something that went on to be a "classic."

Wow Gazzy, that is great..

I also saw, on Broadway, Hello Dolly, with Carol Channimg, The Bells Are Ringing with Judy Holiday, The Odd Couple with Art Carney and Walter Matheau, Roar of the Grease Paint (with the song "What Kind of Fool Am I") and The Owl and the P ussy Cat with Ruby Dee.

My Mother had to travel to NY, for her job and I tagged along...I was very lucky to see them all at a very young age. I gave up my ticket to see Funny Girl and gave it to a friend so I missed that.

Oh man..... what a great memory bank you have.

I, too, spent a bunch of time in NYC because of my dad who traveled there quite a bit. So my parents lugged me with them. I didn't really like it then, but now, looking back on it, it was a great experience. When I go to NYC now I prefer to spend more time in the Village. It's more comfortable feeling to me.

The biggest attraction for me are the art museums. I'm going to NYC on the 19th to MoMA to see the Van Gogh exhibit. I'll be back there on the 31st to see The Magic Flute at the Metropolitan Opera (tickets were $15!!!!!) with my daughter. I've never been to the Met and don't particularly care for opera but can sit through it, but The Magic Flute is funny and I've always wanted to go to the Met. My daughter's excited to go.

Oh, the MET!! I never got there. I did get to RadioCityMH, but I would love to visit the Met and The Museums.

I wish you and DD a great NY experience, together....That's special..

Better that she's diseased and not deceased!

I soooooh wanna go see all the musicals and operas in NYC!!!

I was so disappointed when we saw Phantom in London. They treat their opera houses like movie theaters. There's snacks, drink cups and wrappers everywhere. You don't even get dressed up -- just wear street clothes.

I don't know. Some days I think there wouldn't be many people who would miss me or care.

But thanks for the vote of confidence.

Twink, so you're waiting for.... what? I mean NYC is an experience just like London. Why not do it?
