Ugh that sucks!

I have no clue where my lesions are, but I have a good suspicion I'm not being 'told' or 'shown' because, I'd probably react just as you did.

I do suspect that I have them in the brain stem specifically, thus the types of symptoms I experience (the loss of taste that I mentioned I experienced as well, Trigeminal Neuralgia, etc).

Absolutely you have the right to cry! It's a release and needed sometimes. Take care hun and feel better soon.

Sorry about the relapse, the steroids and crying to the nurse.... I cried to a nurse once too, so don't feel bad. I hope you'll feel better by Christmas.

I hope you feel better soon,Kim. I cried when I went to my first neuro and was upset with myself that I did, so I understand. Please know you're not alone. It's to be expected and some might think we were strange I guess if it didn't upset us, you know?
Honestly, these boards really have helped me in so many ways. I was just thinking that earlier today, that I'm so thankful we're in a time where we have the support of each other online. We're here for you.

We have "Client Services Counsellors" at the MSS in Canada, and those poor ladies heard me crying more times than everyone else combined has in my entire lifetime. They were an amazing support.

Anyone who has intimate knowledge of this disease knows that things can be very difficult for us, and that we can't be strong all the time. Nurses, doctors, counsellors, us . . . that's what they/we are all here for.

Well, I bought a cane last night. I have to admit, it helps. So I swallowed my pride and used it this morning to get from the house to my car and from my car to my office. The world did not come to an end....

I start the steroids today. Yipeee!! Bring on the rage...lol. What a great time of year for this to happen....LOL. I have to laugh or I will cry.

Thanks for all of your support. It helps so much to have people understand.

I thew Ice water on a secure area supervisor thinking it was my friend coming around the corner. Yep, and I wonder why I worked as long as I did?lol
