My MRI showed a new lesion on my brain stem. I start oral prednisone tomorrow morning. I knew this was what was going on but I'm still upset about it. I hate that I cried on the phone to the nurse.

Girl...don't be hating that you cried to the nurse, you aint the first and it was fine, I'm sure...I cried so hard once the doctor couldn't understand what I was saying. I had to write it down and then it was all wet and blue ink running.lol You have nothing to apologize for...you just get to feeling better.

My PCP called me when I got DXed. I cried on the phone then apoligized. She said you have a right to cry. Don't we all?

I'm not sure why the dr didn't want me to do ivsm, but I'm actually kind of glad. I always have such a bad reaction to it, ie... weight gain, emotions, stuff like that. I hope the oral pred works. It would be kind of nice to stop falling into walls.

He also signed the paperwork for me to get a handicap placard for my car. <sigh> I was trying to hold off on that one for a while, but it's here now. I know I need it if I want to remain independent.

Hi Iam new to NeuroTalk I have been at the hospial the last 5 night recieveing Iv full of the steroids. I hate it. my ankles are swelled really bad, I have indigestion, not appetite, I am itching all over. I have not had a relaspe in a few years so it really scared me.
