Well, she's doing better but she won't listen to reason, she said it had something to do with the season and her having too much to do.

Her mom is sick now so she went and did her mom's grocery shopping, wrapped her gifts for her, ....

Then did her own Christmas shopping and tomorrow has to do grocery shopping for herself. What is it with women that we think we have to do it all?

I guess tho I can't complain, her loving and giving spirit is what makes her such a good friend and I wouldn't want her to be any other way except if it interferes with her healing process. We have many roadtrips planned after the holidays and she best be up to it!

Thanks for the update Sassy. Give her a huge hug for me on the road trip. She's definately a trooper eh? Givers are like that. lol

Wow! I am blown away by all the love and support of this wonderful community.

Words cannot express how I am feeling right now after reading this thread! The thoughtfulness, caring a support is overwhelming.

Sandy - Thank you so much for finding the link to the hospital. You certainly kept those volunteers hopping. I was so very excited to get everyones messages. It truly kept me fighting to get well.

Sassy - you are the friend that no one should be without. Your love and support will never go unnoticed and I will treasure you throughout my life.

I had been sick since Thanksgiving with an exacerbation. I then developed a cold that turned into a bronchial infection. because of all the coughing I developed an esophageal errosion which caused tearing of my esophagus. I'm not sure how the hernia developed but I truly thought there for a little bit that I wasn't going to recover.

I am on the road up now and getting my strength back a little each day!

Again, Thank you everyone for all your prayers. You have no idea what this means to me.
