My son in law is coming over tomorrow and we are going to get ours up. I would just forget about it since it is this late but I'm having Christmas at my house! But since it's on Jan 3 I hvae a little more time to enjoy it. Plus I can't have those two grand kids come to Grandmas house and there be no tree.

Finally got mine up! Still need to get the antique mirror above the fireplace but have to take it Hobby Lobby to get the proper hardware on the back so I can hang it.

Nice tree, Doydie... and now I know why you really wanted the fireplace...:D

Everyone's trees are gorgeous!!!

My tree is a new 4 1/2 ft prelit tree with all clear mini lights all over it. I chose not to decorate it with baubles and beads, this year. It looks so pretty, sitting in my bay window. I'll take a picture, when get some film for my old fashion camera..

Sally, from what I hear it is getting harder to get that film for the old cameras. I had a Kodak Advantix, took wonderful pics and now can hardly find any film for it. But my husband got our digital camera as his 35 year employment gift at work so don't need to use the other one. I do miss taking the film to Target and getting 2 sets of pics, one for me and one for my Mom.

We don't have a tree this year. Too much going on for us to get around to it I'm afraid, but it sure is good to look at everbody else's trees.

Thank you for sharing. :grouphug:

My Mom lives in a small apartment so had to give up her tree. She now has one of those little, oh I would say it's about 3 feet, trees that is prelit. She has it on top of her samll entertainment center. She puts her samll nativity and all her Christmas cards around it and it's all she needs. Yes, she misses the days where she had the full tree but is satisfied with what life has given her. She stores this tree under her bed, pulls the box out, takes it out, plugs it in and there it is. No work, no fuss, no mess.
