Jeez...

When you have a bad time, you really have one, huh?

Hopefully you get all the crud out of the way now and the rest of the year is good to you.

Poor kid.

I am home from the procedure. Other than the uncomfortable position I had to be in during the procedure, it went very well.

The doc and his staff were wonderful. Hoping for some relief. He said the cortisone coats C2-C7 so hopefully it will solve some of the pain! I sure hope so. He said I was pretty tender and obviously in a lot of pain!

Sal--LOL! You are right! They are here til Saturday!

Waiting for brain MRI results and have to schedule the EMG!

Check in with you all later and thanks for all the positive thoughts. You guys are wonderful. It's been a long haul.

Wiz..I think I will stick to Flygirl. Flowergirl is not in my future!

Cheryl, Thinking of you and hoping you are feeling better soon. By the way, my DH has to get the same cortisone shot in the neck (same spinal area) next week. Actually he has to get 3 shots in 3 areas. Keep us posted on the MRI news. Don't overwork yourself with the inlaws!

Yeah, I know I am a little boring!

Pinched nerve C3/4 is part of the dx. Cervical radiculopathy. That's why I had the epidural cortisone injection (ESI) done today.

The rest is still in the process of being dx'd. Waiting on brain MRI results and still have to get the nerve conduction study done.

I must say the procedure was painless. And I seem to be doing a whole lot better. I can feel my index finger! Very tired and my back is a little sore, but otherwise, doing very well.

My DH will be glad to hear that it wasn't painful. Last week he found out he has 3 herniated disks in his neck -- he's been in terrible pain with a somewhat useless floppy hand (and a numb finger or two). I get to drive him as I think they also give some tranquilizers???
