Cheryl, just noticed this post...I too have horrible pain in both of my arms, that was unexplainable forever even had abnormal EMG's finally my neuro said mine were due to lesions, I did monthly pulsing for about a year and it got better although I do still occasionally have a flare of that particular area it is much better than it used to be....it brought me to my knees! Good luck to you my thoughts and prayers are yours sister!

I wish I could think of suggestions as to what this might be. I'm at a loss, can't even figure what's wrong with myself.

I'll send you a cyber margarita though, that does seem to take the edge off.

If they want you to see a pain clinic, do give that a go. I have had such good results from mine you would not believe. I could barely use either arm before I went there. Not only they helped the pain but restored function.

Could be some nerve is pinched, bulged disc impinging something or compressing the cord. Hard to see a lot of that even on the best MRI.Those things cause sx in one or both my arms, but even at its worst I got relief from the pain clinic with a couple shots.

I'll be with ya in spirit for that emg. I know it's no picnic, but it's not half as bad as what you're dealing with now.

Here's hoping the EMG goes well. I had that a couple if years ago to test for carpal tunnel. Piece of cake except when they stick the needle between the thumb and pointer finger. YOWSA! Only last a second or two though.

Thanks Sandy...they stick what...don't say it () where ()?

Good thing I was sitting down when I read that. Except I don't know if I can get up yet!

It will be ok..OWFG...just close your eyes and don't forget to breath like I do or you will....

Fine...let's take your mind off of that now....

I went to Mint City to my favorite store and guess what?

I found one bag of Christmas wrapped Chehalis Mints for 1/2 price. They are mine...all mine I tell ya...off to hide my score!
