I don't have MS but have a condition that is fairly similar (RSD) and I have attended two, Intense Physical Therapy programs and I had to wear 2-3lb weights on my ankles and then move my legs up and down 30 times and side to side 30 times etc. It helped me so much in some ways, it didn't get rid of the tremors that I was having completely but it helped to calm them down a little and stop them from coming as often as they used to do! The PT's explained to me that the ankle weights try and "stabilise" the joints to try and stop them from shaking and going into spasm - it made a lot of sense to me. I still do the exercises at home now sometimes.

I hope the weights help you and please keep us updated - you are in my thoughts and I wish you a very happy New Year filled with lots of love and happiness!
Thanks so much! Happy New Year to you, too!

I'm going to make a neuro appt in January, and I'll talk to him about physical therapy. That's a good idea, although my neuro should be the one to bring it up first.
