I know my spasticity is worse in the winter so that definitely ups the pain level. Other things are worse for me in the summer. So, I guess I'm a mixed bag.

I'm so sorry you are feeling so crappy and that DH is getting laid off, too. Sometimes it just feels like the bad stuff just keeps coming at you. I feel like I've been on the four year plan of "life sucks" myself.

I am resolving this year to take better care of myself and I know you are like me in that you put yourself at the bottom of your "to do list". Well, sister, you and I have to move ourselves up to the top of that list.

Margaritas all around. I like mine on the rocks with salt, please.

Sorry to hear about your husband's layoff...

I hope you feel better soon and try to keep the stress level down...

***** away! Nothing like letting it out to those who can understand exactly how your days have been going. All this and the fear of an impending lay-off would drive anyone to drink!

Where is that cabanna boy when you need him?!?

As for me, winter brings on certain issues; summer brings on or aggravates others.

sorry brain.
if you have any time left on the insurance couldn't you see the dr?
what about cobra? you can always do it for a few months just to get your tests and then drop it. i know it's expensive.

good luck to your dh.

i'm having problems this winter but i still think i'm worse in the summer months.

Brain...do you remember that song 'dirty laundry'? If you do, then you know that's when you get kicked the most.

Hope you're feeling better.

It does sound like a margarita time...

Toledo's probably not a good place to be right now, employment wise. Where does DH work?

As far as the winters go, well, you know what I did about it...

Do you feel better yet?

Winter is my worst time, especially during the transition period from warm weather. I HATE cold since about 2003.

Summer can be difficult, especially for fatigue (as you mentioned), numbness, and eye-sight . . . but cold HURTS.

Hope it starts to warm up where you are soon!
