Welcome to NeuroTalk Kat, but I'm sorry for the reason that brought you to us.

I feel for you and your cognitive issues as that's the symptom that made me give up a life time of nursing, which I loved. It got to the stage where I couldn't trust myself to remember important things, and when it came to people's lives.......it really was a life and death decision that I had to make.

Even now I'm struggling. Most of the time I do OK, but then I go through a period where I can't remember the most simple things. I saw a new doctor 2 weeks ago, and it was only the next day when I realised that half of what I told him wasn't true! I had to ring his secretary and explain to her..... I felt like a real fool!

Hang in there Kat..... we've all been there, and we're here for you should you feel the need.

hi kat,

welcome to NT.
sorry for the reason you're here.
one of the hardest lessons i had to learn was to listen to my body.
to stop when it said stop, and rest or sleep when it said rest or sleep.

those things during the day actually help me to get more done, decrease my pain and clear my thinking. it might help not to push past your limits.

does your dr know about your cog issues? there might be some meds he could prescribe to help.

hope you get to feeling better. hope to hear more about you.
