I am having severe leg spasms. I ran out of valium and can't get a refill as I am waiting for my tencare card to come. This is the first day without it and I swear I am about ready to cut my legs off. This pain is unbearable and I just pray that I can somehow get relief. I did take 60mg of baclofen compared to the 40 I usually take and so far that hasn't helped but has me stubbling around like a drunk person. Just had to vent I am so frustrated and in pain.Hugs

It Hurt sooooo bad, it was the only thought going thru my head 24/7. But it did get better & I will pray your's does as well. Hang in there! Soak
it in ice cold water, That used to help some. |

Sorry you're hurting so...I've been experiencing the same thing. Called neuro, and the NP called back, refused to give me any pain meds, but did increase the gabapentin. It seems to keep the pain at a tolerable level.
Hope you can get some relief soon

Nancy gave the same advice I would, see if your doc might have some samples to get you through until the card shows up.
Sorry you're going through this.

Try a bath of epsom salt and then heat for 20 minutes. It seems to help me with the spasms when they get that bad.
I have found that none of the regular meds, valium, baclofen etc help me. I've been on Sinemet for quite awhile and it really helps. It's a Parkinson's med. You might want to talk to your doc about it. It helps some people but not always. There are several different strengths. I hope you feel better soon.
