i went on betaseron this march after being off medications for a year or so. i am glad i did. i have no side effects so far and i am on the full dose. i also like using the betaject pen. i use this for the hard to reach areas. i was terribly impressed when i did my arms absolutly painless! i am hoping this works for me. i have used rebif, copaxone prior but beta has been good so far. i always take 2 tylenol prior to injections. i hope my next mri (in 6 mo) shows improvement...

What made the decision for me was that Avonex looked better on paper than the other choices. Plus I only had to stab myself once a week. Another huge decision maker was Biogen Idec has a very good patient assistance program. My insurance does not cover these medications and they are very expensive. I am getting Avonex for free, can't beat that.
