Default MS Walk

I am a very proud mother who is overwhelmed with emotion.

My 19 year old son is participating in the Boulder, Colorado MS walk on May 9th.

Did I sponsor him? Of course!

Default Proud mom here too!

Last Saturday I got a text from my 19 year old dd. It said simply, "Mom I am walking for you RIGHT NOW in the ms walk!"

It was a surprise for me and I was oh so proud! So I know how you feel!

Well, you have every reason to be proud, Snoops ~ and you too, F2Y! It gives a parent such a great feeling when their kid's do things like that. My niece's fiance' also has MS, so my brother, SIL and their family are walking in the local MS walk. I'm proud of them all, esp my baby bro, who is overweight, so the walk will be good for him too.

That's pretty cool, LA.

My friends are coming out of the woodwork doing walks, golf and bike rides. Am I sponsoring any of them? Nope! LOL, they understand, but I will be there in the cheering sections as they finish.

Aw! Snoopy that is awesome. I am sure it made you feel good.

DDs have done the walk with me in the past. Heck, they even get their friends to do it. This year, DD18 had one of her friends call her about doing it. In all honesty though, it had nothing to do with the walk and purpose but EVERYTHING to do with the firemen that do the walk. LOL

So, AMN, Bannet and I will be at the Frankenmuth walk. I'm walking(scootering), Beth is a greeter!

Hope to see you there!

Check out my self-help group team, Shiawalkers! We tie-dyed shirts so we will be easy to spot!

Its our first walk and we've raised over 3000 for NMSS!

Beth has two teams walking for her-instead of walking together they are competing against each other. It's her son and step-daughter. I can't remember their names-Tag Team?

I noticed your new Avatar - have you ever considered getting professional help for anger management

tkrik, lol - yeah, at that age those firemen could make all the difference for your DDs and thier friends. Oh, heck! it might even make a difference for me

Sassy, best wishes to you and Beth!

DM, you have every right to be proud!
