I was just told about a yoga class at my local JCC (Jewish Community Center) on Sundays. It is geared for disabilities so I may take a look. I do a pilates routine at home but I wish I did more upper body. I have bands that I can hook around my feet and stretch the muscles.

I just need the discipline to do something.

And the fat cells for MS, I am very interested in how that study turns out. I do plan to ask my MS doctor about it!

For those of you that did not see the thread and are interested, here is the link:

I thought of you when I did my floor "exercises." I use this ring thing-y. I am going to ask exactly what it is 'cause it is hard to explain - a round stretch-kinda ring with foam handles. See, you probably have NO IDEA what the heck it is.

Anyway, it can be used for a number of things, stretching the legs or bicep exercise, lots of "things."

So, I am going to ask the woman I bought it from. It cost a grand total of $15. Enough to break the piggy bank!

I can stand but not well, looks like I had too many wobbly pops(beer). The exercise deal just requires a commitment, you have to do it regularly. Doesn`t take a lot of money or tools. You can do some in a chair, some laying flat on your back on the floor, some with an an assist from a wall or counter.

Doesn`t take a lot of weights, a cheap set of ankle or wrist weights, cheap light dumbells, or just resistance from your own body weight,eg. situps, pushups, bent knee butt lifts.

It is nice to have some one around though just in case?
