Default I'm feeling sad today. Things are getting worse.

I was planning a lovely horsie day today but I woke to realise that I'm starting another relapse I think. I'm so p""sed off and really sad that I'm not going to breeze this thing like I always imagined I would. I'm having more stuff already!

I worked a late shift for the first time in 3 weeks last night, took my Beta at midnight, slept, and woke with left facial weakness again. My smile is wonky, I'm heavy, tired and getting double vision to the left. If I move my head too quick, I'm getting double vision and vertigo.

I'm so cross with myself. It's feeling real today. I just want to sleep and hide. Maybe I'm just over tired but I don't think so-it's all too real.
Anyway, the horses will have to wait; I'm going to have a nap on the sofa. Bu^^er.
Where did I go wrong???

How do you all cheer yourselves up when it happens to you?

aww Kitten...im sorry

I hate this disease.

I hope you can get some rest, and perhaps it will turn out to be a mini event due to being over tired from working the extra shift. I find that being over tired, overstressed, or overheated throw me into a funky day.

Feel better quick

I usually try to do quiet things like watch a movie, or listen to a book on tape, or just do quiet things around the house. I try to not push it, and will sneak in some chocolate or ice cream to make my comfort level rise. Comfort eating everyday isnt a good thing, but a treat now and again helps. Try to not beat yourself up. Get some rest.

Awwww, poohy, I hate when that happens. It may just be, as Dej said and you just need a day of complete rest and vegging out.

My thoughts are with you and please feel better soon.

Sorry you're feeling poorly. It's disappointing when the plans we try to make get derailed by this darn disease. I know how you feel. I hope you get a couple of days of rest and then try it again.

I am so sorry you are feeling so down on yourself, my friend. It sounds like you could use some good rest and a big hug!

Please be good to yourself, and remember that this is not your fault!!

Just the simplest thing of reading your support makes me feel listened to. I'm grateful to you all.
This is a cruel disease. I'm very angry about it. and not feeling that much better today. I've started an eye twitch too. I'm a winking, wonky whiner.

It's so hard to try to pace our lives and it wouldn't be surprising that the late shift depleted your reserves. Sometime it helps just to vent and I'm glad that you posted. You're not alone and unfortunately there's no magic cheer up pill. Get lot's of rest and we'll hope tomorrow is a much better day for you. Lynnie "ONE MOMENT CAN CHANGE EVERYTHING!"
