I personally have never had an issue with it, as long as the meds have been in the fridge or a cool spot during the day.

If you feel too hot and sluggish, wait until your bod cools down. Sometimes a tepid bath or shower can help speed the process along.

It is only harmful to you if you went on too many rides and ate too many corndogs and cotton candy! Do what Finlady said.

(hope you got a gut ache by the way!)....p.s. she knows I am joking...

when I was taking avonex and my side effects were high fever and flu like symptoms, going out in the heat would have been suicide..

If you are usually okie dokie after a shot and not too bothered by the heat, then go for it..

I am on copaxone, and have issues with heat. I do my shot early in the morning, not long after I get up. I pull it from the fridge, and keep it next to my body for 20 minutes or so, and when its MY body temp, I shoot. I by then am finishing with my tea, and dressed, and ready to start the day.

I have not noticed any effects other than my ON stuff that swings on during the heat. I am not sure I could do my shot if I was out and over heated. I get warm pretty quickly though.

You will find a pace for yourself. its a matter of trying it till something works for you.

i don't see any harm if you tolerate the med that way.
and, as said, the medication itself doesn't get hot in the sun.
