Default Are these tremors??

I am exhausted.....and I have been "shivering" for two days now...and it is wearing me out.

I've been having some very strange feelings and movements almost constantly for two days now. It is somewhat hard to describe....but I will give it a try:

It reminds me of when I was a kid, and there was a so called "exercise" device that was being sold in which a person would stand on the equipment, facing a handle bar and you would have a thick belt that would wrap around your back, at waist level and it would "jiggle" you or "shake" your body back and forth really fast....does anyone remember what I'm talking about? If I attempt to sit still.....my body continues to "shake" and "tremble"

It also reminds me of being out in the frigid cold, and your lips start to tremble really bad, but it is not just my lips.....it is pretty much my whole body that is trembling.

The muscles throughout my whole back, neck and shoulders are feeling a "burning fatigue" because they are constantly being flexed and jumping around.

I have not called the Neuro about this, but it is starting to concern me because it will not stop. I have also had a headache for the past few days that doesn't want to go away.

Does anyone else experience this? If so.... am I having a "flare"? Is there anything I can do to minimize it?

I was getting self conscience about it today because for my job, I am quite often in sales meetings and I feel as though it is super obvious and distracting to others. I have only had one person mention that they have noticed it so far.

I hope this stops......

Amy,

Is it possible your coming down with something, are you running even a slight fever? Stress?

I get tremors. My hands will visably shake. I will also have internal tremors also known as shaking - for me, this is invisible tremors, no one can see I am shaking but I feel it throughout my entire body. This is my MS.

I also experience shaking of my entire body that is very noticeable...This is not my MS. This is a normal reaction for me under certain circumstances, I have an anxiety/panic disorder and PTSD.

I use Klonopin, as needed, for tremors.

You know....I did feel as though I may have had a fever for the past couple of days.... and I am feeling much better today so I bet you are right about me maybe coming down with something. I also think that "stress" has alot to do with it too...since I do have a 16 year old daughter and 19 year old son who have been giving me a lot to "stress" about lately....that is another long, long story that is just too much for me to even talk about because it makes me cry.....

I am just really looking forward to escape for a weekend away to my cabin in mid-July with my girlfriends for some relaxation and alot of laughs.......

Thanks Snoopy, I really appreciate your reply!

Your are welcome, Amy.

Glad to hear your feeling a little better. As a mother of a 17 year old daughter and a 19 year old son...I understand

Enjoy your time away in July.

Amy, I hope you are feeling better now.

My tremors started with my head, then moved down to my trunk, arms and legs. I am on Klonopin for them, which was just increased yesterday. My neuro said they are cerebellar tremors caused by MS.

Talk to your neuro about this if it continues.

Stress can cause so many, many things.

I'm glad you're getting away with your girlfriends, and I hope you have a marvelously relaxing time!

I see the neurologist again on July 1st...so I will make sure to ask him about the cerebellar tremors.

I have to say, with all of weird things I've been noticing lately, who knows if it is "just in my head" or what but regardless...it is WEIRD! When I was taking my shower this morning, the water felt "warm" on my body, but when I let the water splash on my head and face, it felt cold! What is up with that?!? I kept switching back and forth between the water splashing my face...then body...etc, and the water would feel warm....then cold..warm..etc! It was so strange! I called out for my hubby to see if he would feel the water with his hands and tell me what he thought....and he said it was cold! So weird....but I am pretty strange anyway
