Hello vlys,
I certainly understand the heat problem you are having with the termperpedic mattress. We had been looking at them as well prior to buying the Select-Comfort mattress we recently bought. I still sleep with a Temperpedic pillow because of the contour around my neck. We did sleep on a Temperpedic mattress once and I was terribly annoyed by the heat problem (especially living where we do).

We have been so satisfied with our purchase that we just sent my sister-in-law to the "Mattress Firm" to buy the Select-Comfort bed, and she told me last evening that they were still on sale if you are at all interested. I do believe I put up a link for the manufacturer earlier on in this thread. I do know that all of the Mattress Firms carry them and still have them on sale. I do hope you are able to find something to help you sleep comfortably. When we decided to buy a new mattress my husband reminded me that we spend almost a third of our lives sleeping. After his reminder of this fact, I had no problem spending money on a good and comfortable mattress.

All the best,
Chris
