The article's theory is based upon effects found in mice. In other words, it is useless.

I don't remember seeing research for Parkinson's, ulcerative colitis, arthritis, etc so tied into how mice are affected.

One day the mice will be cured and we will just have to watch them run around in their cages while we push around in our chairs.
