I swam a mile this morning. I loved it :)

Keep on moving people! It does help!

I chased a herd of sheep into a trailer. (Sounds easier than it inevitably is).
Damned stupid sheep. That's my exercise for the day.

I did my two Winsor Pilates workouts today, ab blaster and thigh smashers, lol. Total of 40 minutes but very effective if done regularly. :)

Tomorrow will be B ball again, maybe for 30 minutes this time.

PF, the last time we had to chase all the goats around at my in-laws' ranch trying to separate out the young ones for banding, we decided that we needed to ranch those Pigmy Fainting Goats instead so that we could just walk into the pasture, clap our hands real loud, and then pick up the one we wanted after they all fainted...

Fun animal stories pud and TxBatman. I used to have goats, chickens and pigs, but never got far enough to add sheep to the mix :) Those critters are a lot of (hot) work!

Hi sabi golf girl :Good job :)
Wiz: yay for you and the Pilates :)

I swam a mile this morning and I loved it :)

I did not take a walk today. I decided since I had shopping to do, that would be enough exercise. I really should get back to walking, I that the husband is wondering if I've quit. I live on a pretty street, but the heat and humidity make it impossible for me. I did a lot of walking in the grocery store, and the department store. That will have to do for today.

Maybe tomorrow I'll start walking again:rolleyes:

Ok, scratch the B ball for today, I got a late start and it was warm out. Instead I went for a 20 minute bike ride and tried to stay in the shadier neighborhoods. I try to really push myself so my heart gets going good. My legs get a good workout too. I got my daily dose of vitamin D from the sun as well. Maybe basketball tomorrow if I can get going earlier.

I also really, really need to clean house too. :o That in itself is a workout, especially when I get going at a fast clip, lol. It's very easy for me to get distracted and get off task when cleaning though. :o

Now yard work, if it's nice out, I can focus on, imagine that, lol.

The gym I go to is air conditioned, the other night when I got warm it was weird. It was like almost 10pm, there were maybe 3 or 4 other people in there (one being my dad, maybe a couple of other gym patrons and the guy at the front desk to checks memberships.)

It was really warm and muggy in there then. Today when I went, people were practically fighting over the machines (yay! I got my favorite end of the row treadmill!) and it was kind of cold in there. (not that I'd complain about that)

Of course, today's humidity wasnt as nasty.

I want to go swimming, but they have such nasty fluorescent lights in the pool area that I end up wanting to rip my eyeballs out by the optic nerves thru my nose. Why do these places have to use such craptastic lighting sources? At least the treadmill area is right next to the big east facing windows (which is nice in the afternoons...no hot sun blasting me, and no nasty artificial light)

Today I had a different problem on the treadmill. Perfumes!!

Several girls got on the treadmills next to me, trying to kill me with the copious amounts of perfume they marinated themselves in this morning when they went to work...and they were wearing competing scents. It's like getting maced! and then when they were gone, some guy came over, wearing a wife beater t-shirt (a pink peachy color) and sweats, with a scent emanating from his body that reminded me of Hai Karate aftershave and unwashed personal areas  that probably hadnt seen soap in days.:eek::eek: Which probably explained the Hai Karate-like scent. He was trying to cover up his laziness at dealing with his bodily hygiene. (oh, yay...look at that...my half hour's up! gotta go!!!)

I hate perfumes...especially in the gym.

At least I got my half hour of walking, and I actually sped the treadmill up a little bit more than I usually do. Hope that I dont regret that later. I need to get a refill of baclofen soon.

I walked one mile this morn, before the humid stuff started. I was dragging, and I am out of shape from being on my butt for so many weeks, but I did it!
