Walking weather is coming. I can feel it (maybe it's just my wishful thinking lol). Once the mornings become a little cooler I will start back up on my daily walks. I can't wait.

Did my stretching exercises this morning as I do most mornings.

Erin, you can buy goggles that are very tinted-- that coukld help your pool/eye problem.

Dejibo: That was brave to walk in the heat/humidity

Ewizabeth: You really got active today

TxBatman< What can I say? You are the most active of al of us I think!

tkrik: good for you for stretching. Your autumn is around the corner.

sabimax: 40 degrees? brrrrrrr. Good walking weather though.

I swam 1.1 miles today. Its still very hot here and will be for at least another month.

Yesterday I cleaned the bathrooms and swept and hand mopped all the tiled floors. I also took down the heavy plastic shower curtain liners and washed with some bleach in the water, washed the bathroom rugs too. It was DH's birthday so I cleaned the kitchen twice as well, once in the morning and then after the tasty dinner that our son cooked.

The housework was wayyyyy overdue. Today and tomorrow I want to get the dusting, polishing and vacuuming done as well. I also need to get groceries because we're low on everything.

I also have to file form 1040x for my son today. I hate that form, lol. I work with state of Illinois retail and telecom taxes and employment but the 1040 for the IRS is the pits. I think because of the sneaky changes they make every year, lol.

BBS,

This thread seems to be helping me get more done. I tend to go into neutral mode quite easily.

Thanks for doing this, it helps to check in, for me to keep moving.

It rained about 3-4 inches here the last two days, with more to come today and tomorrow so I need to get the indoor stuff done. I can work in the garden this weekend, woo hoo!!! It's supposed to be 58 degrees and sunny on Saturday!

Thats great ewizabeth! I was hoping that it would inspire folks to keep moving Your housework is amazing.

I swam my mile this morning in 50 minutes. It was very refreshing.

I will be gone Saturday to visit in Atlanta, but back Sunday morning. Keep moving even when I'm not here

I'm not feeling good today. I'll spare the details, but will mention that I have a tummy ache and just feel yucky.

I'm not sure I'm going to do any treadmilling today when my dad gets home from work. I didnt do anything yesterday either. I might tell my dad to go without me.

I havent taken a shower since monday, (ewww!) So, if I can get up the energy to crawl into the shower, I'm hoping that scraping off the layer of dirt and washing my hair will make me feel better. I'm a little dizzy, so I'm waiting for the Meclizine to kick in first.

Default You should feel wonderful

I begrudingly put on my shoes, and drag my morning butt to the mailbox. He is usually just walking up on it. This morning a neighbor joined in with her two westies. The pace was more brisk than I am used to, but I suppose its good to be pushed a bit.

I am home, wiped, sweaty, tired, and glad its over. There are some days I just DONT want to go! I am thrilled I am up and walking again, but have those slow lane days that I am not motivated.

Tomorrow will be better. it will be great when the humidity leaves us.
You should feel wonderful - I just got back from walking around the block for the first time in about 6 months. I'm with those above who don't want to be caught - dead or alive - in a swimsuit! I've got to pick up the pace, but I'm not sure I can. billie

Erin, you're doing better than me, although this is the second day in a row that I bathed!! I've ordered a footpad that I hope will help me walk better - don't know what the problem is - fat pad atrophy of the foot or something, but in the meantime, no walking until today, when I went around the block - Yay. billie
