Default Chest pain/tightness

Hi,
Yesterday while on the phone to a friend I had a really weird sharp stabbing pain on my left ribcage (under my bra line) but a tightness as well. It went around from the front to the side. My other symptoms are on my left side too.
It only lasted 5 mins.

I freaked and called 'nurse-on-call' and they called an ambulance for me.

After 4.5 hours in hospital they came up with nothing. All heart tests clear.
Happened once again in hospital, but only for a short time.

Off I came home and I'm fine.

Is this sort of pain similar to the 'MS hug'?? My sister (who has MS) thinks it might be.

Also, every morning when I get out of bed my feet have pins and needles when they touch the floor. Every day for the last 7 weeks. Does anyone else experience that? Now that's weird to me! Although the tingling scalp thing lately is really weird too- like bugs crawling on my head! Is anyone with me on that one at least?!!

That is what happens to me. I get a pain, like a muscle has rolled over, and its painful! then it gets tight, like someone is pulling on a belt strap that is wrapped around the line just where my bra would ride, but a tad lower. Sometimes it feels like a broke a rib. it can last for 10 mins, and can last for hours.

I hope you feel better.

What Dej said, Free. It's MS, but it was very wise of you to go to the hospital to make sure.

Yes, yes.....I get the "hug" and also the creepy-crawlies. When it's on your scalp it's very unnerving. I knew nothing was there but kept checking anyway!

Ugh, the Hug is really uncomfortable. For me it's like a giant hand squeezing my lungs. I get some relief from Baclofen (for muscle spasms). I also get sharp pains in my breasts, usually with the hug, but not always.

I get the crawlies really bad when it's hot. Everything from feeling like a row of ants crawling up my leg, to invisible spiders on my back. Even though I know there's nothing there, I have to brush away the invisible bugs. Thank goodness I haven't had them on my scalp (yet).

As for the tingles, I get them in my feet and toes after sitting a short time (for some reason, usually after I get off the toilet (WTH?). My fingers tingle almost every time I turn off my car and get out. Something about driving seems to set them off.

Weird disease ain't it?
