Default Have MS but started taking Enbrel

Hi there;
Just wondering if any of you out there with MS have taken the injection Enbrel for arthritis? Just had my first shot of it yesterday for my arthritis (Ankylosing Spondylitis) and I am a little scared. In fact my hubby had to inject me as I was a chicken and luckily it didn't hurt that much and no reaction to my leg. Both my drs (rheum & neuro) stated the side effects of this med could cause an MS flare, but we came to the conclusion it was worth a try to try to alleviate my pain with AS in taking this med as the other meds I tried I had such side effects. So far my MS is considered mild (knock on wood) and at this moment do not need medication. They will be doing MRI's every 6 months to check for more lesions (think I have a total of 6 at this point). Just wondering if anyone has had to deal with this medication and if it effected your MS in anyway. Thanks.

I hope the enbrel works for your AS without causing any MS problems.
