Heart Starting IV IG 2morrow!

Hi guys! I start my go go juice 2morrow! Talk about relieved! I am so ready to be able to DO stuff again!

It should only be outpatient, that is as long as Dr. I approves and you never know. I am really glad to be heading in, b/c I've been getting my terrible headaches again, followed by wicked nose bleeds and bruising a lot lately .At least with the PICC line my blood is checked DAILY, so I will FEEL safer!

Does anyone else have the headache/nosebleed thing going on? I know it must be med related, but it's still weird!

I hope to get Jerry, cuz' he can place a line in under 5 minutes! 5 minutes! Can you imagine? I am (of course) a very hard stick, but i is so worth it to feel normal again!

i'll have my computer with me @ the hospital.......

Love,
Erin

Erin,

Good luck and I hope the go-go juice gives you the get up and go you need. I will be thinking of you. Have you had the port installed or are you getting one? As you know I had mine put in a couple of weeks ago but my body is not liking it. Went to surgen today and he couldn't believe how sensitive my system is to things. He has to go back in and try to fix it or he will remove it all together. As he said, people with autoimmune illness just don't follow the rules..LOL.

Default Yay!

I'm so happy you get your liquid gold starting today! I hope it works like it always does this time. I know you need it to.

I hope you have a good book to read. I know hospitals are boring. Have a great day.

Hi Erin,

yay for IVIG, and here's hoping you do get Jerry. I think people who can put in iv lines without pain/quickly etc are truly amazing.
When I had my ct scan to see if I had a thymoma, the poor lady who did it said she hadn't done many, eeeekkkk not the thing to tell some poor young women whos just been diagnosed with mg, and now having a ct. Anyways, she tried to put in the line, into my arm, and missed several times. So she said she would go and get (can't remember his name) and he would do it first time, no pain.
Well in walked this drop dead gorgeous bloke, and he looked at me, with needle in hand, and said with a big smile " I promise you won't feel a thing", and I didn't, of course it had nothing to do with the fact that I was gazing into his gorgeous blue eyes the whole time!!!!!!
