I pay $5 (co-pay) for 300 GENERIC tablets. I could get a 90 day supply (900) for $10 -- but, with the humidity problems we have in Tennessee -- I prefer to get mine "fresh" every month (LOL). As it is, my pharmacy puts about 10 desiccants in each bottle of tablets.

Name brand would cost me $75 per month -- $100 for 90 days.

if you buy a large quantity, keep the bottle closed tightly, and use a second bottle to keep only a couple of weeks supply at a time. Dont continously open the original bottle as moisture and just the air will cause the tablets to become more brittle.
Im not sure how much the humidity in the air effects the actual strength of the dose, but I see from my own bottle the tablets are much more brittle over a few months from constantly opening it.
Now I keep a few bottles with few tablets in it and refill them all at one time every 2 or 3 weeks.

I buy my mestinon in bulk - 500 tablets - Valeant brand - and I pay around $550.00 - which lasts me for about 1 month.

Wow Llakel, that's a lot you have to pay, I'm sorry to hear that. Would you be able to get a low cost insurance plan with the money you have to spend on just the mestinon? I don't know if you take other meds as well. Take care.

Hugs,
Pat
