Hi all,
I have pain in my middle back between shoulder blades and neck and it travels all the way down the left arm to the fingers , sometimes I get the pins and needles feeling and numbness, it feel like something is pressing on something., I went to my family Doctor who is sending me for a nerve conduction and EMg of the arm, he feel this is nerve related. Could this be the MG??? It is painful and nothing seems to help. |

Sounds like a pinched nerve or stenosis of the spine but I am not a doctor.
I'm sure they can figure it out. It does NOT sound like MG. Those can also be signs of a HEART condition. Has anyone checked you out for cardiac issues? Do you have any other symptoms with the pain like sweating? I hope they can figure out what is going on so you can have some relief. Annie |

Hey Nancy,
Sorry to hear you're having so much pain. It's good you went to see your GP right away and you're going to have some tests. I'm sure he'll get to the bottom of it. I get pain in my upper back, but it doesn't spread like you discribed. Good luck and I hope it's nothing serious. Take care. ![]() Hugs, Pat |

Whirlwind,
I agree with Annie that it sounds like a pinched nerve and is not MG related. I have had that in the past and have times where I get this catch like feeling in between my shoulder blades. I have also had the pins and needles feeling from it. I notice that mine gets worse when I go to bed and lay on my side. For some reason that really puts pressure on it until I adjust and I get comfortable. I have a fabulous chiropractor who can fix that when it happens to me. If you are open to chiropractic you might look for a good one and give it a try. If you don't currently have a chiropractor ask around for someone who can recommend a good one. They are the same as any other practice, some are MUCH better than others. Kendra |
