I have been a bit weak lately due to a cold (hopefully)......on the positive side I start PT 2morrow @ 4:30 - tried it last week but the PT decided not to work on me - said I hurt too much! LOL! I thought that was the whole point! He is doing some sort of testing on me and I can;t wait to hear what he says! My Dr. upped my pain patch and it has been GREAT!

Thank you for checking in on me! I know you've been super swamped!

I NEED my IV IG soon - fortunately I start next week - maybe even this week if I feel too yucky! LOL! This port has been so great! I can't say enough great things about it! i'm also being tested for RA and Fibro this week - as well as being tested for a whole hist of other things by my PT - my PCP and PT are married and work in the same location - can you say AWESOME?!?!?

How are you? Have you taken any new pics lately? Cooked any fabulous meals for your family? How is the weather is Australia? It is FINALLY nice and cool here! Mike had some friends in from Chicago this weekend and they were saying how COLD I keep my house! It just made me laugh!

I wasn't any kind of hostess - just too darn tired to even try!

welcome back.
I'm not too bad, although its a warmish humid day here, I hate humidity it really saps me of energy, but its only going to get hotter, thank goodness for airconditioning.
Have taken lots of photos, but havn't done anything, or put anymore up on my profile, I'll see what I can do about that.

It's so good hearing from you. I really think you're going to love PT. It helped me so much when I had it years ago. I had the nuclear stress test last week and the results are good. I'm holding off on having the cardiac cath since all the heart and lung tests are good. He still thinks it was a clot, but they couldn't find it so I guess I'll never know what happened. I just hope it never happens again...it was very scary! I've been feeling a little under the weather myself lately and I think some of it has to do with the BP med. I just started taking half a pill so I'll see if that helps. I take my BP at home and so far it's ok on that dose and my MG symptoms seem better this morning. You take care and let us know how the PT is going. I'm so glad you aren't in that horrible pain now.

So glad you answered this thread! I don't use any of the facebook games because I live to far out in the country and can't get high speed internet and dial up is soooo slow. Heck if it rains we even have a "party line" on the phone, nothing more annoying than talking to my mom and having the neighbor talking to someone, I usually will say, you go ahead and talk and I'll hang up..LOL

Ted is also on a pain patch 50mg Fentanyl which keeps him flying like a maniac he thinks he superman! Drives me crazy though. Anyway, he was supposed to have surgery on his shoulder (which is why he is in so much pain), he's fallen on it soo many times because of his leg weakness and not using a cane (he's 63). His surgon's office just called and says his pulmonary dr. (who is away till monday) doesn't want him to have the surgery. I'm guessing because he would probably have to be intubated (sp?) and would compromise his mg, but he hates being on all this pain medicine. I'm so upset for him. Just venting, thanks.
