Default Another nail question...

My thumb nails have decided to split about half way down the nail beds, horizontaly(sp)....it hurts so bad...the first one happened about a week after I had a manicure done, so I thought maybe my lady clipped it funny. But just today, the other thumb did it as well. I haven't bent them back, or used my nails to open anything. It's not uncommen for this to happen, right at the top of the nail bed, so if I pull it all the way off it's sore...but this is unbelievable...anybody else? My Nuero is running a whole panel of blood test to see if I am deficient in anything (due to the pain in my legs) , they think it might be Restless Leg Syndrom (I doubt it)...but they are checking some other things as well...but now I'm wondering if it could be Fibro??? My hubby has it, and I was telling him how the pain felt the other day and said it could be that....it hurts mostly in my legs, but I also have pain in my arms occasionally...but the arm pain is easier to ignore....ok ok my fingers are dying.
Strength b with all of you,

Jessica

According to my Dr. I too have Fibro but I don't understand what fibro has to do with your finger nails splitting like that? That sounds more like a vitamin problem, maybe? I just don't know but I do hope you find an answer soon.

Sorry Joan, I was rambling...I meant the pain in my legs was being tested...and maybe the nail problem could be related to a deficiency they r testing for. I kinda switched what I was talking about half way....
