Tyson, I'm not trying to cause a fight, I just want to make sure you are getting the facts.
I'm not saying that 108 at rest is normal, I'm saying it's not " very high". And any cardiologist worth his salt is going to tell you the same thing. Especially for your age. You're getting the work up that you need, that's what's important.
**

No you shouldn't have to deal with the stress, it's a horrible place to be in, and I'm concerned that you're getting some misinformation that isn't helping, but my infact may be hurting.
My heart is in the right place.
I don't want to cause you anymore stress, so I'll do my best not to post on your threads. I'll try not to read anymore of your threads, cause I know me, I'll want to jump in to help.

But Tyson, please know that not everyone on the internet is who they say they are, if you don't listen to anything else I say, please listen to that. I've been around these types of forums for a long long time. I've never been kicked out, or asked to leave one for being something I'm not. I am who I am, I have nothing to hide.

Much Love
Lizzie
P.S. I am using my real name, and you can ask anyone here who knows me privately, I'm a real person, and haven't told you anything but the truth. Again, I'm not trying to be disagreeable, just very concerned for your health.

I am going to have to intervene here and request that everyone please take a step back

Tyson, as you are a minor, I assume your guardian is taking an active role in your healthcare?

this is a patient to patient support forum, and is NEVER to be considered a substitute for taking medical advice from your own physician.

there is a disclaimer here at the bottom of all pages
Quote:

The material on this site is for informational purposes only, and is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment
provided by a qualified health care provider. Always consult your doctor before trying anything you read here.
in that light I have also done some editing as, where no-one, nomatter their qualifications, can dispense "medical" advice here, that also does not give any member the right to post a negative slur about someone else's claimed credentials. That is called flaming and is prohibited in our guidelines

In addition (and this is *not* directed to the above poster who was edited) and to settle something once and for all that has been a source of problems here, at NeuroTalk we keep a very close eye on what is happening on our forums and we are perfectly capable of checking IPs, computer "cookies" etc for ourselves thank you.
Please stop with the rumor mongering about who is who, or who may be posting with dual IDs etc. It is simply not accurate information.
People have quite enough to deal with related to their health without others manufacturing drama where it does not exist.
Please also remember that the guidelines here apply to posts as well as PMs and so if members forward PMs to us that violate our guidelines, we will be taking action
here again are the NT guidelines

Tyson, once again I am going to recommend that where you use this forum for support and exchange of information, you only take medical advice from your own doctor

thanks

Lizzie, I think everyone here knows how incredible you are and that you ALWAYS have the best of intentions and concern for everyone. Tyson knows that too, I'm quite certain. What you have to share is invaluable. And you are right - some teens do have a high pulse, like infants can. I'm glad you always share yourself and information so freely, honestly and which such passion and love.

Tyson, I don't see Lizzie and I as fighting! ;) We care, so we kind of make sure all bases have been covered. Both sides - or all sides - of any situation. And that's a good thing because then all as much info can get out there.

But, like I always say, make sure you go in or call your doctor. Which I know you do, because you have a good head on your shoulders.

Take it easy.

Annie

I am locking this thread now.

If anyone would like to discuss the reasons for my needing to moderate here, please contact me via PM

the guidelines clearly state that if one would like to discuss an administrative edit or moderating post, it is to be done via PM and not on the forum so for those edited, please contact me by PM

thanks

ps I would also like to add that my post above is not directed to any one member, nor at the member who was edited, but is rather a request to all those who have been engaged in this rumoring etc
