Default Ocular MG

I was diagnosed with OMG 3/09. I haven't had the droopy eyelid like many have. However, in the past fews months I have felt a "pulling feeling" in the corner of my left eye. The left eye is the troubled eye. Yesterday I noticed the right eye was drooping some and my husband even noticed it.

Question to you out there with droopy eyelids ~ which eyelid is typical to droop - the bad eye or the eye that works overtime!

Thanks for any help.

Kathie

I think it was my left eye that had the most trouble seeing causing double vision and also my left eyebrow was tense...and it was mostly my right eyelid(and entire right side of my face) that was droopy. Overrall, the left side of my face was lifted up and tense and the right side was droopy including my mouth. I looked strange. I am so glad the Mestinon made that go away most of the time.

To answer the question, it was the eye that worked overtime that was the most droopy.

I hope this helps.

Heart

... there is no stereotypical involvement of how particular muscles (in your case extraocular and levator palpebrae) are affected. that simply means that you could have unilateral/ bilateral/ or no ptosis. pulling sensations are possible.

best;

Kathie, I replied in your other post. Ditto to what Tom said.
