I'm not saying that's really likely--just worth mentioning to the doctor if you're going anyway. Hyperthyroidism can cause muscle weakness, eye trouble, and anxiety. Two other signs of hyperthyroidism I know of: dirty fingernails (because the nail separates from the bed too soon as it grows, and dirt gets trapped) and hair loss.

I just had my thyroid checked 2 weeks ago, and they said it was fine....with the meds. I am taking 50mcg of Levothyroxine. So that wouldn't seem to be the problem.

Yes it is ...Look up HLA-B27 .. a marker used for organ transplant , which is associated with several autoimmune disorders.
