Default Back to work

I have enjoyed catching up on here during the summer. I started back to work on Friday. I am a high school math teacher. The kids start on Tuesday. I won't have as much downtime and won't be checking in here as much. My goal is to check in at least weekly, we'll see how that goes.

Take care everyone!

Best of luck to you! I'm a big fan of teachers. I'm always trying to steer my kids in that direction. My husband teaches high school, too--not exactly a low-stress job, but if you're going to have stress, at least it's for a worthwhile cause!

I hope all goes well for you! Don't forget to sit instead of stand as much as you can.

Unfortunately I teach 6 out of 8 periods and need to stand the majority of the time I am teaching. Sometimes I can lean on a stool. I do get to sit at lunch, team time, and study hall.

I made it through the first week but took a nap when I got home on a few days. The weather stayed fairly cool, so it was not too hot either (no AC). Heating back up today to high 80s.
