Default IVIG and Nausea

I have had two IVIG infusion in the past..approx 6 weeks apart with no side effects, however this last one which i completed on Aug 20 has resulted in some fairly serious nausea, no vomiting, just a sick feeling. Today is the third day after the final infusion and I'm still getting this nausea. I'm on 60mg of mestionon 4 times a day, and sometimes take two pills. Has anyone felt this lingering side effect? Just wondering if something else is going on here. The infusion center said it was the same brand and ran the same course. about 4 hours a day for 5 days.

If you have read my posts on IVIG, I have had some pretty remarkable reactions to IVIG and they have changed entirely from day to day. Some days everything is totally smooth and I have no side effects and other days, we have to stop the infusions for a time (once we didn't even finish!).

They said it takes 1,000 donors for each bag and every bag can be different so that is why they watch so closely. Nausea is a common side effect. I have had common and very uncommon effects.

Hang in there. The benefits are totally worth it! debra
