Default MANY bug bites affect MG?

My health is worse the last few days. I should have bounced back by now. I realized yesterday how MANY bug bites I had from a trek outside Thursday for some sun. More than 12. I am not sure what bit me but they sure are itching and swollen. Being Sunday and the obvious itching noticed Friday I am surprised it is still going on. Given my breathing has been alot worse when I got up for 2 days now and feel tired and sleepy most of day and generally weaker I started to wonder if this many bug bites could be affecting my MG?

Anyone have experince or knowledge around this?

I don't know the answer to your question - - but using a baking soda and water paste will help the bug bites.

If you don't get better, contact your doctor. If you didn't know what bit you, you can't really determine why you reacted. Sue had a good suggestion for dealing with the bites. You could try Benadryl cream but because it can make MG worse, you should only try a very small amount and only on ONE bite. Wait and see if it helps or not. Or, go see your doctor.

AnnieB3, I know Benedryl would make me worse but docs dont seem to get it even current neuro. How do you explain this so they get it?

About the worse symptoms I am deciding how to proceed. I was supposed to do have surgery Thur but in this shape it is not a good idea. I was sitting by the bushes out front. Since most are on my back and my back was to bushes I assume this is the culpret. I am gonna give a call to the Ames Iowa bug experts.
