Brandon- glad your doing well man (as well as you can be haha your in the icu). Sounds like they're taking pretty good care of you, and all the tubes and ivs sound all normal from what I had. I bet you'll be out of there in no time- make sure to keep your lungs strong. I messed that part up and one collapsed.

Keep strong man

by the way how was your recovery path? how much did it help you so sar? and how long ago was ur thymectomy?

Well that all sounds pretty good. They appear to have it down in chicago. UNC had it down pretty good as well. Hope you get out soon man.

I had my thymectomy in October of 09. I had a rough 6 months after the surgery, my mg got mad worse, but now it's getting slowly better- I'm on 14 pills a day and ivig every month but I think I'm closer to out of the woods than not.

Hope ur feeling good

Thanks dude. I hope you have a good recovery. I know a 17 yr old
Who had the thymectomy maybe 6 months ago and he is already in remission so there are definitely some quick success stories out there- knock on wood.

The ivig isn't as good as the plasmapheresis I dont think but that's just me. It does make it so that I can work out so I'm not complaining about it at all but it's quicker maybe w plasmapheresis.

Hope you got to get out today- it's impressive how fast your getting out, compared to my stay only a year and a half ago! Crazy. Be well man
